The latest adventure: December 2009: a 3 week bike trip down the California coast! (that's pedal biking, not motorcycles!)
This is the "Lone Cypress" tree, which has been growing out there for 250 years. Sheila, we didn't miss it! This was Thursday, as we headed from Carmel into Big Sur.
YEA!! :) I'm so glad you were able to bike on the scenic drive - it looks like you had a lovely day, too! Wasn't the Lone Cypress beautiful? I didn't realize it has been growing for 250 years - WOW!
